The story behind Lulu Citrus Caviar is our passion for caviar limes.
From Curiosity to Passion
It all began with the discovery of an extraordinary fruit: the caviar lime. Originating from the tropical forests of Australia, the Microcitrus australasica captivated us with its uniqueness and unparalleled gastronomic potential.
We decided to plant the first trees on a south-facing hill, where the sun exposure and climatic conditions create the ideal microclimate for the development of this rare citrus fruit.
With dedication and patience, we watched our trees grow and flourish in Portuguese soil. In 2021, we harvested the first fruits. The surprise was enormous: balanced, fragrant, and with a quality that exceeded all expectations. Thus, Lulu Citrus Caviar was born, with the mission of bringing this treasure of nature to the most discerning palates.

Handcrafted Care
The harvesting of caviar limes is a ritual of precision and respect for the fruit. Between August and November, each lime is individually hand-picked at the exact moment of ripeness.
After harvesting, the fruits are carefully selected and packaged in 100g or 500g boxes, ready to reach your table maintaining all their freshness and original flavor.
This artisanal process ensures that each citrus caviar pearl retains its unique texture and explodes in the mouth with fresh and vibrant citrus flavors.
